Open the file 'config.php' in a text editor on your home computer, and follow the instructions there to configure the workings of the chatroom. Upload this file to the chat subdirectory.

Just upload the files you need, in regard to the mode (signed or unsigned) you want. Upload any extra files, such as language files or images and sound.

1. Unzip/Unpack php_simpleshout_1_6_0.zip to your desk or server
2. Open config.php - Line 3 requires editing to the correct path of the shoutbox, all others are optional
4. CHMOD all data.dat to 777 (Could be different depending on your server, ask your hosting provider if 777 doesn't work)

1- Open up the file "config.php" in a text-editing program and configure all of the settings to your liking. Each setting has a description of how it should be set and what it is.
2- Open up your FTP client and create a folder on your web server for the shoutbox...
